I’m honoured to share that a selection of my work appears in Issue 25 of Silvergrain Classics—a beautifully produced international print magazine dedicated to analog photography.
This issue is a special one, marking their 25th publication and focused on The Future of Film Photography. They opened a call for submissions earlier this year, and I was genuinely surprised to be one of six artists selected from around the world to have our portfolios featured. Each of us works with film in very different ways, but what connects us is a shared love for slow, intentional photographic practice.
It means a lot to be included in a magazine that champions traditional techniques and creative experimentation. For me, film photography is not about nostalgia—it’s about process, attention, and being present. It’s about choosing the long way around.
The work featured in the magazine comes from a mix of my large format pinhole camera, 35mm and some lith print scans. All of them are part of a larger conversation I’m still having with land, light, and memory.
I’m grateful to Silvergrain Classics for the opportunity to share space with other analog photographers who are pushing this medium forward in their own ways. If you’re interested in film, darkroom printing, or simply seeing what’s possible with analog tools, I highly recommend picking up a copy.
You can find Issue 25 here, or support their work by subscribing to the magazine.
