New York

During a brief snowfall on a trip to New York, Central Park took on an ephemeral stillness—just beyond the sledding children, barking dogs and honking horns. I’m always drawn to green spaces in cities, and here, I found a quiet dissonance: the illusion of solitude within a carefully constructed park, shadowed by high-rise buildings.

This landscape echoes a familiar tension in my work—the pull toward nature as refuge, even as the edges are shaped by commerce and man made control.
